Will Solon Place Storage provide me with a lock?
No. Solon Place Storage does not provide locks as part of the monthly fee. The best locks designed for self-storage can be purchased in the office or you can bring your own.

Is there a monthly invoice?
No, there is not a monthly statement. Just mail a check or pay by credit card or stop by the office and pay cash. Your payment due date and terms are outlined in your contract.

Do I need to sign a long-term lease?
No, all rental agreements are month-to-month..

How do I notify you that I am moving out?
We ask for a 10-day notice of move out. As soon as you know please let us know. When you have removed all of your property and no longer need access to the gate, stop at the office or call us or complete the contact form. Your contract will be terminated upon notification.

Can I store my RV, motor home or boat at your facility?
No, we do not provide outside storage for vehicles. Please call us for a referral.

Are there any restrictions as to what I can store?
Yes, there are legally defined restrictions for all self-storage companies to abide by. Some include, but are not limited to: inflammable or combustible materials, animals or animal products, perishable food, illegal or stolen goods, hazardous materials, toxic materials, tires or plants. Please contact us for more information or if you have specific questions.

Will Solon Place Storage provide insurance or do I have to?
We recommend that you contact your homeowners insurance or we will provide a referral for storage insurance. We recommend insuring all of your valuables. Check with your home insurer to see if the items you place in storage will be covered by your domestic home content policy. Please call us to find out more.

Do you charge set up and administrative fees?
No, we do not charge administrative fees, although a small deposit is required.

What access can I expect?
There is year-round gate access available 7 days per week, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

When is my Payment Due?
Payments are due the 1st day of the Month.

When can I move in?
If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs you can move in anytime.

What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?
We require a government issued photo ID (example: driver’s license)

How do I make a payment?
You can pay in person, mail a check or money order or pay with your credit card.

How do I know how much storage space I will need?
